T & C – Blossom Retreats

Terms & Conditions

Booking Terms & Conditions · Version 16 October 2026

These terms apply to new retreat bookings made from 16 October 2026. Existing bookings remain governed by the terms agreed when booked unless a change is expressly agreed with the participant. Mandatory consumer rights always take priority over these terms.

1. Your organisers and how to contact us

Your contract is with Anna Currey and Polina Davidenko, joint organisers trading as Blossom Life Retreats (“we”, “us”). Anna Currey operates as a sole trader and receives retreat payments on behalf of both organisers. Both organisers are responsible for the obligations they undertake under your booking contract; payments being received by Anna does not remove Polina’s responsibilities as a joint organiser.

Email: info@blossomliferetreats.com.
Retreat contact: +44 7463 851460. In an emergency, contact the relevant local emergency services first.

2. Your booking and what is included

Read the relevant retreat description, room information, total price, payment schedule and these terms before paying. By paying a deposit, initial booking payment or full price, you register for the retreat and agree to the terms presented to you before booking. We confirm receipt and the agreed booking details in writing. Please contact us promptly if your confirmation contains an error.

Your contract consists of these terms, the retreat information and any room arrangements, special requirements or payment plan expressly agreed in writing. Important pre-booking information forms part of the contract where required by law. If two documents conflict, an expressly agreed retreat-specific arrangement takes priority over a general provision, but cannot reduce your mandatory legal rights.

Only items expressly listed as included form part of the price. Unless expressly included, flights, visas, travel insurance, optional treatments and personal expenses are your responsibility. Shared rooms and shared beds must be clearly described and agreed before booking; paying a deposit does not guarantee an unconfirmed room or sole occupancy.

Retreats are intended for adults aged 18 or over unless we expressly confirm a different arrangement before booking. The participant named on the booking must meet any clearly advertised participation requirements.

3. Prices, deposits and payment plans

Prices are in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. We disclose the total price and any unavoidable additional charges before booking. Once a booking is confirmed, we will not impose an unagreed increase to its agreed price.

A “deposit” or “initial booking payment” is the amount identified as such before payment. It forms part of the total retreat price. A full-price payment is not treated entirely as a deposit merely because it is paid at booking.

Radiant Woman Bali Retreat · 23 April–3 May 2027:

  • £700 deposit: remaining balance due by 1 March 2027.
  • £300 initial booking payment: remaining balance paid through an individual instalment plan agreed in writing, with full payment due by 1 April 2027.

The total price depends on your agreed room. Other retreats have their own published booking amounts and due dates. A payment plan changes when you pay, not the total price or cancellation rules. Instalments are not automatically charged unless a separate recurring-payment arrangement is expressly disclosed and authorised.

Payments may be made through the website or by bank transfer using details supplied directly by us. If a payment is late, we will contact you and give a reasonable opportunity to resolve it before cancelling for non-payment, taking account of how close the retreat is. Any cancellation charge remains subject to section 5; we will not automatically retain more than we are legally entitled to.

4. Changes or transfer requested by you

Request changes by email. Changes to rooms or dates depend on availability and written agreement. Any price difference and actual change costs will be disclosed before you accept them.

You may ask to transfer your booking to another person who meets the retreat’s participation requirements. Where the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 apply, your statutory transfer rights apply, and notice at least seven days before the start is treated as reasonable. We will explain any actual, reasonable transfer costs and provide evidence where required. We will not charge arbitrary transfer penalties.

5. Cancellation by a participant

Email info@blossomliferetreats.com to cancel. The cancellation date is when we receive your written notice; periods are counted back from the retreat start date. You do not need to make a telephone call before your cancellation is effective.

Your deposit or initial booking payment is non-refundable from the moment you book if you cancel, regardless of how far in advance you cancel, subject to the fair-charge calculation and statutory rights below.

If you cancel 60 days or fewer before the retreat starts, all payments made are non-refundable, subject to the fair-charge calculation and statutory rights below. If you cancel more than 60 days before the start, payments above your deposit or initial booking payment will be refunded, subject to any lawful, appropriate and justified cancellation charge.

Fair cancellation charges: any amount retained or charged must reflect an appropriate and justifiable cancellation charge. We take account of actual losses, reasonable costs, savings and income recovered by reselling your place. We will not recover the same loss twice or retain more than permitted by law. We will explain the calculation on request and return any excess.

These rules do not remove a statutory right to cancel without a fee or receive a refund, including applicable rights relating to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances. Your ability to claim on insurance is separate from your rights against us. If you voluntarily leave early or choose not to attend a provided activity, there is no automatic refund for unused services, but your legal remedies for our failure to provide the agreed services remain.

6. Programme changes and significant changes

We may make reasonable, minor adjustments to activity timing, order, routes or facilitators in response to weather, safety, the group’s needs or supplier availability. We will tell you about relevant changes promptly and aim to preserve the overall nature, standard and value of the retreat. This does not allow us to remove a substantial part of what you booked without addressing your rights.

If we propose a significant change to an essential feature before departure, we will explain the change, any price effect and your available options in writing. You may accept it, agree to a suitable alternative or cancel without a cancellation fee where the law provides that right. Any deadline to respond will be reasonable and clearly stated; silence will not be treated as consent to waive your statutory rights.

If a substantial agreed service cannot be provided during the retreat, we will seek a suitable remedy or alternative. Any applicable rights to an appropriate price reduction, compensation, assistance or termination remain available.

7. Cancellation by the organisers and force majeure

If we cancel a retreat, we will offer a comparable alternative retreat, with sums already paid credited towards it. Any replacement requires your agreement and availability; it does not replace or limit an applicable right to a refund.

Force majeure means unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances beyond our control whose consequences could not have been avoided despite reasonable measures. Examples may include war, serious security events, border closures, natural disasters or severe disruption to essential transport. Such an event must actually affect performance of the retreat; invoking “force majeure” does not by itself remove legal obligations.

If a retreat is cancelled because of such circumstances, we will first offer alternative dates at the same location. If this is not possible, we will offer another Blossom Life Retreats retreat in the United Kingdom or abroad, with sums already paid credited towards it. Dates, any price difference and use of credit will be agreed in writing. A credit or replacement is voluntary and does not extinguish an applicable statutory refund right.

Where the package-travel rules require a refund, we will refund the sums due without undue delay and within the applicable statutory deadline, generally 14 days after termination. Money already paid to a villa, hotel or another supplier does not remove that obligation. Any separate statutory entitlement to compensation is determined by the circumstances; a refund and compensation are different matters.

We will not cancel for insufficient numbers unless a minimum group size and the cancellation deadline were clearly disclosed before booking and comply with applicable law. We will not retrospectively introduce a minimum group size.

8. Suppliers, independent arrangements and travel disruption

We use accommodation providers, drivers, venues and other suppliers. We exercise reasonable care in selecting and coordinating them. We do not exclude responsibility merely because a contracted service is delivered by a third party. Where the package-travel rules apply, the organisers remain responsible for proper performance of the travel services included in your package, subject to the applicable legal rules.

For services you book independently and which are not part of our contract, your separate supplier’s terms apply. This does not exclude responsibility for any negligent advice or arrangements made by us. Please check cancellation terms before independently booking flights or other services.

If your independently booked flight is cancelled while the retreat can still take place, contact us promptly. We will consider practical options, but your refund position depends on your contract, the actual circumstances and applicable law; neither automatic forfeiture nor an automatic organiser refund is assumed. We do not remove rights arising from extraordinary circumstances affecting the destination or travel to it.

9. Practices, informed participation and health

The programme may include yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound practices, movement, women’s circles, tantric or embodiment practices and ceremonies, as described for the retreat. These are wellbeing and personal-development activities, not medical diagnosis, psychotherapy or a substitute for healthcare. We do not guarantee a particular physical, emotional or spiritual result.

Participation is voluntary. You may decline an exercise, physical contact, sharing or a ceremony, ask for a modification or stop at any time. Consent to touch or partner work must be obtained for that activity and can be withdrawn. You should not be pressured to disclose personal experiences or participate beyond your comfort.

Consider your suitability before booking and consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional where relevant. Tell us privately about health conditions, pregnancy, injuries, allergies or accessibility needs that may affect safe participation or accommodation. Do not send unnecessary sensitive health details in public messages. We will discuss reasonable adjustments and whether specific activities are suitable; facilitators cannot provide medical clearance.

Follow reasonable safety instructions, use equipment appropriately and stop if unwell, in pain or distressed. Report concerns promptly. We will take reasonable steps to manage foreseeable risks and may modify or stop an activity for safety. Your participation or acknowledgement of inherent risks does not waive our duty of care or liability for negligence.

10. Food, accommodation and accessibility

Tell us about dietary and accessibility requirements before booking, or as soon as they arise. We will confirm what can reasonably be accommodated; do not assume an unconfirmed request is guaranteed. We will communicate relevant information to suppliers appropriately. Shared kitchens and third-party catering may involve cross-contact risks, which should be discussed before attendance.

Room type, sharing arrangements, check-in and check-out times are those agreed for your booking. A priority room-selection privilege is subject to available choices and does not promise an unavailable room.

11. Conduct and safeguarding

Treat others, staff and the venue respectfully. Harassment, threats, violence, non-consensual contact, dangerous behaviour and unlawful conduct are not acceptable. Respect other participants’ privacy; do not record or publish their private disclosures.

We may give proportionate instructions, pause participation or, for serious or repeated misconduct or an immediate safety risk, exclude a participant. Where practical and safe, we will explain the concern and allow an opportunity to address it. Decisions must be reasonable and based on conduct or safety, not arbitrary personal preference. Any financial consequences must reflect the circumstances and applicable law; exclusion does not automatically mean we may retain every payment.

You are responsible for reasonable, evidenced loss or damage caused by your deliberate actions or failure to take reasonable care. You are not required to indemnify us for our own negligence or unrelated losses.

12. Insurance and travel documents

For overseas retreats, you must obtain suitable travel insurance covering your trip and activities, including medical treatment, repatriation and relevant cancellation risks. Check exclusions, especially war, travel-advice restrictions and pre-existing conditions. We do not guarantee that your insurer will cover a particular event. Personal travel insurance is not a substitute for the organisers’ legal obligations or any required insolvency protection.

Check passport validity, visa and entry requirements for your nationality and itinerary. We will provide any pre-contract travel information we are legally required to provide. Unless we expressly undertake the task, you obtain your own documents. Responsibility for a failure depends on its cause; this clause does not excuse incorrect information negligently supplied by us.

13. Our responsibility and limits

We will perform the services we undertake with reasonable care and skill. We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach or negligence, subject to applicable law. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or business losses arising from a retreat booked as a consumer, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing excludes mandatory package-travel responsibility, price-reduction or compensation rights. We do not impose a blanket “at your own risk” waiver or a universal cap equal to the retreat price.

Keep valuables secure and follow reasonable venue precautions. We do not accept responsibility for loss caused solely by your own actions or an unrelated event for which we have no legal responsibility; this does not exclude liability where we or a supplier for whom we are responsible are at fault.

14. Problems, assistance and complaints

Tell Anna or Polina promptly if something is wrong during the retreat, so we have a fair opportunity to resolve it. You can also contact us using the details in section 1. We will offer appropriate assistance where required by law. Seeking urgent medical or emergency help should never be delayed by a complaint process.

If unresolved, email a clear description, booking details and relevant evidence to info@blossomliferetreats.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within seven days and provide a substantive response within 28 days; if more time is needed, we will explain why and keep you informed.

Reporting promptly helps us investigate, but these response targets are not deadlines that extinguish your rights. We do not make a complaint within 28 days a condition of a legal claim, prevent you seeking independent advice or require you to give up access to the courts.

15. Privacy, photographs and communications

Booking and personal information is handled in accordance with our privacy notice and applicable data-protection law. Only relevant information should be shared with suppliers for the agreed service and on an appropriate lawful basis. Sensitive health information requires particular care and an appropriate legal basis.

Agreeing to these terms is not blanket permission to use your image or personal story for marketing. We will seek separate permission for identifiable promotional photographs, video or testimonials. Tell us if you do not want to be photographed, and respect other participants’ choices. A photographer being included in the programme does not make marketing consent compulsory.

Email marketing consent is optional and separate from accepting these booking terms. Transactional messages needed to manage your booking are separate from marketing.

16. Package-travel rights and financial protection

Whether your booking is a package is determined by what is actually sold and the law, not simply by its name or whether flights are included. Where the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 apply, their mandatory protections form part of your booking and take priority over conflicting wording.

Required pre-contract information, booking documents, assistance and financial-protection obligations cannot be replaced by a disclaimer in these terms. These terms do not themselves create an insurance policy, bond, trust account, ATOL protection or membership of a protection scheme. No such protection should be assumed unless specific, accurate details are supplied for your booking. This statement does not remove any obligation to arrange legally required protection or any rights you have.

17. Governing law and changes to these terms

English law governs the contract, without depriving consumers of any mandatory protection that applies in their country of habitual residence. Nothing requires a consumer to use a court in a way that removes a legally available right to bring proceedings in their home jurisdiction.

We may update these terms for future bookings. Updates do not retrospectively change an existing contract without agreement. If one provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues where it can fairly and lawfully do so; an invalid provision does not remove your statutory rights.
